Food was really good and even though the prices were a bit steep, the portions were good, the food was fresh, and the staff was so incredibly helpful and nice and gave good recommendations since I had never been there before. The flavors of the food went together so well (the sweet & savory fried tofu sauce + hibachi yum yum sauce was such a good combo). They also KNOW how to cook jasmine rice, sticky but not mushy, absolutely perfect. I loved the colorful presentation of the food and the edible glitter in the thai tea limeade too. Only con is that this place is take-out only and the seating outside the restaurant is actually reserved for the bar next door (the bar owner will sit outside and watch for people sitting there without paying for a drink, kinda kills the vibe) so on a cold day with chilly winds, it would be nice to have somewhere to dine in. Also, the whoopie pies were so fresh and had strong and impactful flavors (definitely try the strawberry lemonade flavor), but the icing in the middle was too sweet for me. I think a thinner layer of the icing would've been better since the cake itself was already lightly sweetened and topped with a light coating of powdered sugar. But overall, absolutely phenomenal experience and wish I lived in Portland so I could come here all the time!

I’m not vegan, but I wanted to try something new this time in Portland! The savory pork-less jackfruit rice bowl was super filling, even had enough leftover for another meal. Great flavors, satisfied my craving. Didn’t spend too much time inside after ordering, but the spot is nice. No dining in so we just found a spot nearby outside to eat. Street parking all around.

Hands-down, one of my favorite restaurants in Portland. I love almost everything on the menu. I think there's only been a few things I haven't tried yet. Also, the staff there are so friendly and welcoming. I've been there so many times and already I'm so sad to hear that they're closing down. I'm gonna make sure to try to go there as much as I can before the 19th. I hope anyone who's reading this review will also take the time to show some love and stop by and try something from their delicious menu. I have so much respect and love for this owner. She is so caring for her community and other communities as well.

The pork belly banh mi was huge! It had great fresh flavors, loved the veggies and sauce and bread. However, my husband and I don't love jackfruit and pork belly was never our thing before going vegan, so we'd probably order something different next time, but we'd love to try more of the dishes here. I absolutely loved the ube whoopie pie and want to try more flavors! The staff was also really nice and friendly. We went around when they opened on a weekday and there was a bit of a line, but it wasn't terrible. There's no seating or restroom facilities for customers, so we carried our lunch to a nearby park. One sandwich (and a whoopie pie) was plenty for the two of us for lunch.
